Abby Buchanan

Attorney Abby Buchanan earned her undergraduate degree in History from Iowa State University. She then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. During law school, Attorney Buchanan was a member of the Organization of Women Law Students and Staff (OWLSS) and an editor for The Journal of Gender, Race & Justice. She worked as a legal intern for Kids First Law Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, an organization providing free and low-cost representation to children in high-conflict divorce and custody cases. She also volunteered at Kids First’s Divorce Workshops, helping children develop tools to cope with their parents’ separation and divorce.

After law school, Attorney Buchanan practiced general civil litigation in Des Moines, Iowa. She recently moved to the Milwaukee area and is excited to focus on her passion for family law.
